Long legs deserve perfect proportions. Our size chart for women's trousers is designed for women from 1.78 m (5'10") and helps you quickly choose the right waist and length size. LongLady doesn't start with adjusted standard sizes - length is our starting point. Think extra long legs, correct crotch heights, and accurate knee lines. For each product, you'll find a specific size chart with measured dimensions above the order button, so you can see exactly how a pair of trousers fits. Our own LongLady collection is produced in Europe and carefully selected for fit for tall proportions. Want to quickly compare sizes? Check out the general size chart.
How to use the LongLady size chart?
First choose your length size, then determine your waist and hip. For women's jeans sizes, you can use both ready-to-wear sizes and Inch jeans sizes. The size chart shows the required body measurements in centimeters and the exact clothing measurements per item. If you're in doubt between two sizes, base your choice on your hip size for tighter fits and on your waist size for trousers and high-waisted models. Always check the product-specific measurements - each model has its own fit and fabric stretch.
How to accurately measure your trouser size
Waist
Measure horizontally around the narrowest part of your waist, without holding your breath. The tape measure should fit snugly but not be tight. This is the basis for your ready-to-wear size or Inch size for jeans. Do you need help with conversion? Or do you want to see the Inch size conversions? Then check out the general jeans size chart.
Hip
Measure the fullest part of your hips and seat, with your feet together. Keep the tape measure straight and parallel to the floor. For slim or skinny models, this measurement is the most important.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg. Even more accurately, measure on a well-fitting pair of trousers: lay them flat and measure from the crotch seam point to the hem. This determines your length size.
Thigh
Measure around the thickest part of your thigh. This measurement helps with tapered or skinny fits and is listed per item in our product sheets for extra size certainty.
Length sizes for tall women - L36 and L38
Our trousers are available in length sizes 36 inch and 38 inch. L36 usually equates to approximately 91-92 cm (35.8-36.2 inches) inseam, L38 to approximately 96-97 cm (37.8-38.2 inches). As a guideline: for 1.78-1.84 m (5'10"-6'0") L36 is often suitable, and for 1.85 m (6'1") and taller, L38 is usually the right choice. If you often wear sneakers or want a cropped look, choose shorter. If you wear heels or want an elegant floor-skimming length, choose longer. Some trousers are delivered unhemmed so you can have the exact trouser length determined. Do you want to shop directly in this length? Check out our women's trousers length 36. This way you'll always find the right trouser length for women, in proportion to your height.

Converting jeans sizes - from Inch to EU size
Jeans sizes consist of W (waist) and L (length) in inches. W stands for your waist circumference - 1 inch is 2.54 cm. As a rule of thumb, W28 approximately corresponds to EU 36, W30 to EU 38, W32 to EU 40, and W34 to EU 42. The L-value determines the trouser length. For tall women, L36 or L38 is often necessary, because L32 is usually too short. A W30 L36 means a waist of around 76 cm (29.9 inches) with a long inseam of approximately 91-92 cm (35.8-36.2 inches). Always check the size chart per product - fabric, rise, and fit can influence the fit.
